MadFocus Privacy Policy, Terms, and Support

Privacy Policy

MadFocus is designed to help you reduce distracting app use and protect your focus. We keep the app simple and privacy-conscious.

Information We Do Not Collect

MadFocus does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, browsing history, photos, messages, or the contents of other apps.

On-Device Data

Your app selections, focus settings, unlock ritual settings, statistics, language preference, and local subscription state are stored on your device using Apple's local storage technologies. This information is used only to provide the app's blocking, focus, statistics, and paywall features.

Screen Time and Family Controls

MadFocus uses Apple's Screen Time, FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity frameworks to let you select distracting apps and block them during focus sessions. Apple restricts access to the identities of selected apps. MadFocus uses the authorized selection and blocking data only on your device to operate the features you request.

Camera Permission

MadFocus may request camera access for the "Face Yourself" unlock ritual. Camera access is used only while that ritual is active. MadFocus does not upload camera images or videos to our servers.

Purchases and Subscriptions

MadFocus uses Apple's StoreKit for subscriptions and purchase restoration. Apple processes payments and manages billing information. MadFocus receives purchase entitlement status from Apple so the app can unlock PRO features.

Analytics and Third Parties

MadFocus does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell personal data. If future versions add analytics or diagnostics, this policy will be updated before that data is collected.

Data Retention and Deletion

Most MadFocus data stays on your device. You can remove local app data by deleting the app from your device. Subscription records are managed by Apple and can be viewed or canceled in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Children's Privacy

MadFocus is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at [email protected].

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The updated version will be posted in this document with a new effective date.

Terms of Use and EULA

MadFocus subscriptions are auto-renewable. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

MadFocus uses Apple's Standard End User License Agreement unless a separate written agreement is provided.
